Product Description

Intacept 50 mg Injection contains Etanercept, a biologic medication that is used primarily to treat autoimmune conditions by targeting and inhibiting tumor necrosis factor (TNF-alpha). TNF-alpha is a substance in the body that plays a key role in inflammation and is often elevated in inflammatory diseases.

Indications

Etanercept (Intacept) is commonly used for the treatment of:

• Rheumatoid arthritis (RA): To reduce inflammation, pain, and prevent joint damage.
• Psoriatic arthritis: For managing joint pain and inflammation in patients with psoriasis.
• Ankylosing spondylitis: A type of arthritis that affects the spine.
